May 9, 2026 | Keystone State Park, Oklahoma
Some weddings feel like stepping into a dream, and Elizabeth and Mason’s wedding day at the Keystone State Park Community Center was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this couple had poured their whole hearts into every single detail. Flowers everywhere. Golden light pouring through the windows. A love story unfolding in the most beautiful way.
The Keystone State Park Community Center is one of those hidden gems in Oklahoma that doesn’t get nearly enough credit. Floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light, and views of the surrounding trees, it’s a setting that practically photographs itself. On a May evening when the Oklahoma sun is setting through the leaves? Pure magic.
Lizzy and Mason’s guests walked into a space transformed. Colorful blooms hung from the ceiling on strings of white globe lights, little disco balls catching the light between the flowers. Green velvet linens dressed every table. Bud vases in pink and amber glass were clustered with wildflowers, carnations, and garden roses in every shade of pink, fuchsia, coral, and cream. The seating chart was displayed in an ornate gold frame, surrounded by more flowers, of course. It was whimsical, it was joyful, and it felt completely and totally them.
Every detail of this wedding told a story. The hand-painted “Bride” heart sign hung on Lizzy’s chair at the sweetheart table, tied with pink satin ribbon, with candles glowing softly behind it. A wedding cake straight out of a Victorian fantasy, ivory buttercream draped in pink piped swags, painted florals, little white geese scattered around the tiers, and a classic bride-and-groom topper perched at the top.
This wedding had that rare quality where you could feel how much thought went into each piece, and yet nothing felt overdone. It all just felt joyful.
After the ceremony and reception festivities, we slipped outside for portraits during golden hour, and oh, the light. Oklahoma in May delivers the kind of sunset that makes photographers emotional. Warm, honeyed sun filtering through the trees at Keystone, long shadows across the grass, lens flares that felt intentional even when they weren’t.
Lizzy’s gown was stunning, a full lace bodice with a sheer illusion cape overlay that floated as she walked. Every time she moved, it caught the wind. Mason held her veil, laughed with her, kissed her forehead. They were so easy to photograph because they were so easy with each other.
We walked the grounds hand in hand, stole quiet moments in the tree line, and ended the night with the two of them lit up in gold, just the two of them and the trees and the setting sun.
It doesn’t get better than that.
