I built Colton’s downtown OKC senior photos around exactly who he is. He’s a theater kid and a singer. Right now he’s auditioning for musical theater programs at several colleges. He came to me with a full vision: three distinct looks across Myriad Gardens, downtown, the studio, and a rooftop. Looking for senior guy portraits in Oklahoma City that actually feel like you? This is how we do it.

We started at Myriad Gardens. Colton’s pink Ralph Lauren shirt, baggy jeans, and white sneakers were made for the stone columns and garden paths. We switched to his blue striped button-down and finished up at Myriad Gardens until we made our way a little more in to the city look.

Next, we grabbed a few quick frames downtown before heading inside. No fuss, just city texture and Colton being Colton.

Third stop: White Moose Studios in downtown OKC. Colton loved the studio shoot look at White Moose Studios, but wanted daytime light instead of sunset, bright, clean, and all about expression. The black and white frames from this set are some of my favorites: quiet, dramatic, and perfect for a theater kid who knows how to hold a moment.

We finished on top of the parking garage next to Frontline Church, the stairs, the concrete, and the whole OKC skyline behind him. Colton told me being downtown captured how he feels right now: ready to take on a city and growing more independent. That’s the shot: a kid on the edge of everything, city at his back.
